Messy Church is great! It’s a time of play, crafts, interactive stories, games and fun for children and their families. Each time we base our activities on a different story or event from the Bible, and the whole family can enjoy exploring the various choices laid out in the church and garden. When we say messy, it might include jelly, glitter, squashing fruit, bubbles, foot or hand painting, glue, sand, balloons or more. Recently we’ve thrown balls, jumped, painted, treasure-hunted, built giant junk models, raced, collaged, decorated, crafted with food . . . the list goes on. You can make things to take home with you, or contribute to bigger pieces with other people. There are refreshments available throughout the session.
